We have an early Christmas treat for you today in the form of the latest set of photos from the Bourton mega-extension. The photos speak for themselves and show what an absolutely huge, multi-floor new space has been created at this home. With the roof in place, the extension is literally encasing the existing building! It will be interesting in the coming weeks as the old external walls are removed fully integrating the old with the new.
VIEW UPDATE
The loft conversion is really coming together with its lovely blue and white paint scheme. The staircase leading up to the space is looking great and the second fix electrics and lighting is complete. Once we have the flooring down this room will be complete. In the adjoining ensuite a masterful tiling job is under way to make the bathroom equally as impressive.
We have a new project to show you today - it’s on the smaller end of what we usually take on but it’s for returning clients so how could we say no?
We have an update from Willowbrook today as we enter the final stages of this project. The decorators are working their way around the house, fixing any imperfections before the final paint goes on. The flooring is down and covered up for protection. In the kitchen our in-house joinery is busy making all the custom cabinetry and units. All the new windows are in and the mini extension is complete.
The flood defence wall is complete. The clients can now sleep easy knowing at the first sign of flooding they can affix their removable watertight metal gate, protecting themselves and their home. An usual project for us but beautiful stonework from the team as always.
We have two teams working on the Malthouse extension today. One pair are building up the lovely Cotswold stone walls, the other installing the joists and other wood work. Great progress being made at the site.
A small update from our single-story extension project. The roof joists are complete and while we wait on the next build stage to continue, we’ve started the landscaping. We’re currently laying the two level patio that will surround the new space. It includes some beautiful stone work to match the house - looking great!
This is our busiest site at the moment, with guys working all over this large scale project. The huge two story wing has progressed fast and we’ve already completed the walls and roof, windows, first fix electrics and plumbing. The space is currently being plaster boarded.
The loft conversion is progressing well, with dormer windows & extensions in place. The plastering of the new bedroom is looking great, particularly with the angles and lines around the new windows. The ensuite has been plasterboarded, so not far behind.
The masonry work is well underway at the Malt House, with the Cotswold stone walls looking particularly beautiful. A great addition to a beautiful home.
