VIEW UPDATE
One of our Grade II listed restoration projects has come to an end. The showpiece is the Cotswold stone and glass single storey extension we built that now houses a beautiful kitchen/dining space.
Last time we were at the Bourton mega extension the new floors were vast, cavernous spaces. Now, at various stages, we have internal walls, plasterboard, plastering and even final paint and second fix electrics.
We’ve taken a neglected outbuilding and turned it into a dream home office.
Deep in rural Oxfordshire we’re constructing a timber and glass home extension. The structure’s been created by our in-house joinery and is full of beautiful lines and shapes.
This beautiful frosty morning in rural Gloucestershire reveals the beginnings of a new project. We’ll reveal more about the plans for this site in the next update.
Our monster crane was out in force earlier this week. Unloading bags of stone during the morning and then positioning steel beams into the afternoon. This thing towers over quaint Cotswold villages, let us know if you saw it!
As this outbuilding conversion nears completion, some of the stunning details have been revealed - The repointed stone walls, the stone flooring, the plastered roof with new Velux windows, the plasterwork around the entrance and the new opening to the existing home.
Large scale development of this site is well under way. The existing building has mostly been demolished, with just a partial outer shell remaining. A new steel framed opening has been created in the side of the home to lead to a new extension - the foundations of which are currently being created. This project is very much in the early stages with an exciting few months ahead.
The external shell of this garden annex is complete and ready for the next stage of development that will start in the new year. The dry stone wall that marks the boundary line and runs the length of the client’s garden has also been completed.
