We operate across the North Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire - generally within a 20-mile radius of Moreton-in-Marsh and often in areas with limited public transportation - therefore, a full driving licence is mandatory for all positions.

All roles are full-time with immediate starts unless otherwise stated. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with optional weekend work. Salaries are dependent on experience and paid weekly.

Carpenter

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to work on bespoke new builds, renovations and character properties. This is a varied site-based role for someone confident in first- and second-fix carpentry, with a strong eye for detail and a high standard of finish.

Main Activities and Duties

  • Carry out accurate first- and second-fix carpentry.
  • Fit internal and external doors, frames, windows and associated ironmongery.
  • Install external cladding and other timber elements.
  • Read drawings, measure and set out work before installation.
  • Carry out cut-roof carpentry where experienced (desirable, not essential).

Requirements

  • At least five years of practical carpentry experience.
  • Experience of both first- and second-fix work.
  • Confidence fitting doors, windows and external timber details.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and deliver precise, high-quality finishes.

General Builder

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, versatile General Builder to work across a variety of high-quality construction and renovation projects. You should be comfortable tackling different building tasks, understand how the trades fit together and take pride in delivering a consistently good finish.

Main Activities and Duties

  • Carry out general building and alteration work to project drawings and specifications.
  • Undertake practical building tasks across your areas of experience, such as masonry, repairs and associated construction work.
  • Set out, measure and check completed work for accuracy and quality.
  • Coordinate tasks with carpenters, groundworkers and other specialist trades.
  • Identify practical site issues and raise solutions with the project team.

Requirements

  • Solid hands-on experience in general building or a related construction trade.
  • Competence across a range of building tasks, with clear areas of specialism.
  • Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements and work to specifications.
  • A strong standard of workmanship and practical problem-solving ability.

General Labourer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General Labourer to support our site teams on a range of construction and renovation projects. You will play an important role in keeping work moving by preparing areas, handling materials and assisting skilled trades.

Main Activities and Duties

  • Prepare work areas and support day-to-day site activities.
  • Unload, move and organise building materials and equipment safely.
  • Assist carpenters, builders and other trades with practical tasks.
  • Maintain clear access routes and keep work areas ready for the next stage.
  • Follow site instructions and safe systems of work when moving materials and equipment.

Requirements

  • At least two years of construction site experience.
  • Experience handling materials and using basic site tools safely.
  • Understanding of site hazards and practical health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to manage physical site tasks reliably and efficiently.

Painter and Decorator

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to produce high-quality finishes across bespoke residential and commercial projects. The role covers internal and external work, with particular emphasis on preparation, neat detailing and care in finished properties.

Main Activities and Duties

  • Prepare surfaces through cleaning, filling, sanding and suitable priming.
  • Apply paint and other decorative finishes to internal and external surfaces.
  • Protect adjacent finishes and work carefully around existing fixtures and joinery.
  • Produce clean edges, even coverage and consistent final finishes.
  • Identify defects and complete snagging and touch-up work to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in professional painting and decorating.
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coatings and application methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially on premium finished surfaces.
  • Understanding of safe working practices for access equipment, coatings and site conditions.

Plumber

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to deliver high-quality installations and repairs on a variety of residential projects. The work is varied, with opportunities to contribute to system design and tender pricing where you have the relevant experience. A company vehicle is provided.

Main Activities and Duties

  • Install, alter and repair domestic plumbing systems and associated fittings.
  • Read drawings and coordinate pipework and installations with other trades.
  • Test and check completed plumbing work to the relevant standards.
  • Identify faults and provide practical solutions during installation and refurbishment.
  • Contribute to plumbing design or tender pricing where suitably experienced.

Requirements

  • At least three years of practical plumbing experience.
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications and competency for the work undertaken.
  • Ability to interpret layouts and deliver neat, reliable installations.
  • Gas Safe registration and/or OFTEC registration would be advantageous but is not essential for the plumbing role.

Roofer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Roofer to work on bespoke new builds, renovations and heritage properties. The role includes pitched and flat roofing work, with care required around traditional materials and existing structures. Employed or self-employed arrangements can be discussed; vehicle arrangements are negotiable.

Main Activities and Duties

  • Install, repair and maintain pitched and flat roofing systems.
  • Carry out roofing work on new-build and heritage properties, using suitable methods and materials.
  • Inspect roof areas, take measurements and identify materials required.
  • Complete flashing, weatherproofing and finishing details to a high standard.
  • Coordinate roof work with the wider site programme and other trades.

Requirements

  • Proven practical roofing experience, ideally including bespoke or heritage work.
  • Confidence working with relevant pitched and flat roofing materials and details.
  • Competence working safely at height and following appropriate access procedures.
  • Ability to assess roofing defects and deliver durable, weather-tight finishes.
  • Own tools would be advantageous; arrangements can be discussed.
