We’re nearly complete in North Oxfordshire. The painters are now applying the final coats and touch-ups. Externally, the building is fully completed and we're just waiting to remove the scaffold platform. We can then remove the protective cover from the new flooring and begin adding the final fixtures and fittings. We're confident that the finished product will exceed all expectations, and we can't wait to share the final set of photos with you next time.
VIEW UPDATE
It's been quite a journey since our last visit to this site. Externally, the extension is complete, with wood, glass, and stone elements blending together seamlessly. The team is currently in the process of fitting the kitchen, which features a stunning wood topper for the island unit. This contemporary project boasts some remarkable architectural lines that create a fascinating contrast to the existing listed building.
Our team continues to make significant progress on the extensive Bourton build project. Recently, Nathan had the opportunity to operate his massive crane once again, expertly lifting and installing the large glass skylights into place. The result is an abundance of natural light flooding into the master suite by day, by night providing an enchanting view of the stars while relaxing in bed.
With the completion of the home renovation, our attention has turned to the next exciting project - the installation of a stunning pool. Despite challenging weather conditions, including snow, our skilled team has diligently excavated the area to create a spacious and elegant footprint that will seamlessly blend into the existing beautiful gardens.
Our speciality is working with protected buildings and today we have our next listed project to show you. We are turning this incredibly old malt house into a beautiful and functional living space.
The hole in the ground from last visit has become this wonderful timber frame out building. The team have been battling through the worst conditions to get to this point - heavy rains and snow haven't stopped them as they construct this ‘no nails’ traditional style home office.
This is one of the home renovations we’ve been working on in Chadlington. The client’s have been back in for a short while and it’s nice to see our work being lived in and enjoyed by the clients - no staged photos here!
We’re at the Malthouse extension today, where the skeleton of the new structure is complete and we’re deep into the process of laying the underfloor heating. This project is coming along very nicely.
In time for Christmas, the team completed the single to double storey rebuild of the wing connecting two parts of this home. The team are now busy with the next stage of this project, converting the attic space into one large, open ensuite bedroom.
