Significant progress has been made on the primary structure, with the upper-floor framing now firmly in place. Below, the single-storey extension is coming together, its timber skeleton linking cleanly with the existing stonework and establishing the footprint of the new living spaces. At the same time, high-performance insulation is being installed throughout the main bedroom and roof voids, moving the project toward a weather-tight, energy-efficient envelope.
The quality of the carpentry is particularly evident in the precision of the window box formations set within the pitched roof. These dormer-style openings require exact geometry to sit seamlessly within the tile line, maintaining the clarity of the overall design. Elsewhere, the junctions between new timber elements and the original masonry reflect a careful balance between structural integrity and traditional craftsmanship.

As internal partitions begin to take shape, the layout of the master suite is becoming increasingly legible. Vaulted ceilings and considered window placements are already giving a sense of how light will move through the space.
The project is now transitioning from heavy structural work into a more refined phase of detailing. Stay tuned as progress continues.
