At the rear of the property, groundworks are progressing alongside the installation of structural steelwork that will form the framework for the new extension. This important stage will create additional living space while ensuring the new structure integrates sympathetically with the existing Cotswold stone building. Preparations are also underway across the surrounding external areas, ready for the landscaping works to follow.
Elsewhere, our team has been carrying out careful repairs to the property's historic fabric. Extensive scaffolding provides access to the roof and external elevations, allowing work to progress on the traditional stone roof, masonry repairs and repointing. These details are particularly important on a listed building, where maintaining the integrity and appearance of the original construction is a key consideration throughout the renovation.

With several aspects of the project progressing simultaneously, Turnpike House is already beginning its transformation. We'll be sharing further updates as the extension takes shape, restoration works continue and the interior renovation progresses.
