Over in the spa suite annex, the pool shell - previously shotcreted and rendered - is now being dressed in dark, large-format tiles. These have been carefully laid using a clip-and-wedge levelling system, ensuring razor-sharp lines across the floor and up the steps. The deep grey tones will give the water a rich, reflective quality, pairing beautifully with the surrounding Cotswold stone walls.
Inside the annex, mechanical and electrical works continue at pace. Original oak trusses are now fully exposed and insulated between rafters, blending traditional character with modern energy performance. The careful integration of new structural elements ensures the historic roofscape remains intact while providing long-term stability.

Externally, both the main house and the converted garden buildings are looking sharper with every visit. Fresh joinery, re-pointed stonework, and renewed roof coverings are all in place.
