The transformation of Willowbrook began with comprehensive internal renovations to turn a recently purchased property into a refined and inviting home. Our expert team executed full upgrades of the electrics and plumbing, installed underfloor heating, and constructed a bespoke kitchen crafted by our in-house joinery.

Additional enhancements included a thoughtfully designed small extension serving as a practical boot and laundry room, stylish new bathrooms, the addition of a new kitchen window, and modern patio doors installed in both bedrooms. The entire interior was meticulously painted and decorated, creating comfortable, luxurious living spaces tailored perfectly for modern lifestyles.

Outdoor Elegance

The outdoor space at Willowbrook was completely transformed through careful planning and exceptional skill. Overcoming harsh winter conditions, our dedicated groundwork team crafted two distinct patio areas, each uniquely appealing. The lower patio features exquisite stone tiling ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation, gracefully embraced by timber retaining wall flower beds that seamlessly integrate with the natural surroundings. The upper patio, with its sophisticated herringbone flooring, creates a peaceful retreat perfect for unwinding and enjoying views of the abundant wildlife.

A multi-tiered stone pathway was meticulously constructed to elegantly guide visitors from the front of the property to the rear entrance and onwards towards the beautiful grounds and garden office. Additionally, our team expertly built a natural clay-lined wildlife pond, framed by rocks repurposed from the excavation, fostering a vibrant habitat that complements the garden's tranquil ambiance.

Choosing Clarke Construction for the renovation of Willowbrook has proven to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. From the outset, their team listened carefully to my vision of a home deeply connected to its natural surroundings and supportive of local wildlife. They transformed both the interior and exterior spaces beautifully, with meticulous attention to detail at every stage. The entire process felt professional, well-managed, and collaborative.

On a side note, the creation of the wildlife pond has brought an incredible array of birds and wildlife into the garden - something I am very happy about.

An essential part of the Willowbrook project was the initial creation of a self-contained garden unit, providing comfortable living space for the homeowners during the extensive renovations. Following project completion, this structure was beautifully transformed into a dedicated garden office, perfectly positioned to enhance productivity amidst serene garden views. Thermal Performance

Willowbrook – 31st August 2022

We seem to have a lot of renovation + extension projects currently. Here’s an update from Willowbrook, where we’ve amended room layouts, added new openings and upgraded the thermal performance of the property with underfloor heating and a special roof.

Lots Done, Lots To Do

Willowbrook – 7th October 2022

New windows have been installed, doors are being fitted today. Plastering, painting and decorating is well underway. Bathrooms have been tiled. There’s still a lot to do but it should come together quickly now. Great work so far.

The Final Stages

Willowbrook – 13th December 2022

We have an update from Willowbrook today as we enter the final stages of this project. The decorators are working their way around the house, fixing any imperfections before the final paint goes on. The flooring is down and covered up for protection. In the kitchen our in-house joinery is busy making all the custom cabinetry and units. All the new windows are in and the mini extension is complete.

Ground Works Update

We're excited to share a small update on our Willowbrook project, where groundworks are continuing despite the atrocious weather. Our team is hard at work building a new stone wall that extends off the home, along with a retaining pathway that will lead up to the front door.
