Historic Grandeur Reimagined

The Vicarage project stands as a crowning achievement for Clarke Construction Group, meticulously breathing new life into this Grade II listed property. Spanning multiple years, our team undertook extensive renovations, incorporating thousands of meters of new electrics and plumbing, bespoke joinery, hand-crafted cabinetry, and exquisite decorative details throughout. A new extension was thoughtfully designed to house a beautiful boot room, further enhancing the property’s practicality and grandeur. Careful attention was paid to restoring original fireplaces, crafting new openings for seamless indoor-outdoor transitions, and installing elegant sliding patio doors that opened the home to its stunning Oxfordshire gardens.

The renovation demanded unparalleled precision, notably in preserving and restoring historical elements while discreetly integrating modern comforts. Hand-finished flooring, extensive plasterwork, and an expansive custom kitchen, meticulously crafted and installed by our in-house joinery team, elevated the interior to exceptional standards. Throughout the property, elegant new bathrooms, sophisticated tile work, and a comprehensive new paint scheme beautifully complemented original architectural features, showcasing the perfect fusion of past and present.

Opulent Living Spaces

Luxury living defines every room within The Vicarage. Exquisite bespoke cabinetry, elegant panelling, and custom mouldings adorn each space, contributing to a refined aesthetic. The bathrooms are particularly impressive, with each space transformed from bare shells into sophisticated sanctuaries, featuring carefully chosen fixtures, premium tiling, elegant lighting, and bespoke details. These luxurious bathrooms embody relaxation and indulgence, providing spa-like retreats within the home's historic setting.

Complementing the interior spaces, the original stable block has been converted into a luxury guest annex. This annex features two elegantly appointed bedrooms and an impressive cinema room, complete with built-in speakers and bespoke projection systems. Additional touches such as custom-made bunk beds with built-in televisions and a compact, yet highly functional kitchen crafted by our joinery team enhance the guest experience, offering both comfort and contemporary luxury.
